Delivery of basic supplies of survivors have been – thank’s to the worldwide aid and helpfulness – in many parts of huge devastated areas.
But what will follow thereafter?
Even, when – what in the most devastated area Aceh on Sumatra almost never occurred – all family members have survived and are healthy, their belongings are destroyed and therefore the basis of their income, their future for the next years is gone forever.
Therefore, organisations like ours help these affected families.
How does this happen?
Through our motto – HELP TO HELP YOURSELF – we take care of many affected children in this region. Many times, they have not only lost their homes, but also their health, their brothers and sisters and their parents.
What do we do for these affected children?
We arrange god-parenthoods lasting multiple years, which are accompanied with financial support paid regularly for a better live, medical care, school attendance and integration into families in Sumatra area. The target is to accompany these children till they will have reached adolescence or their entry into a profound professional life.
Single donations help additionally to reconstruct infrastructure affected, for example a school in Indonesia.
This is the only way to aid affected children and the whole country in the long run.
